This vintage pepper shaker was produced by the Jeannette Glass Company of Jeannette, Pennsylvania, known for pioneering jadeite glassware during the 1930s and 1940s. Made of luminous opaque green milk glass, it features Jeannette’s signature ribbed pattern and a lightweight aluminum lid with a natural aged patina.
Unlike later Fire-King pieces made by Anchor Hocking, Jeannette jadeite has a softer translucence and slightly more minty tone — a hallmark of its earlier production. This shaker remains in excellent vintage condition with minor lid wear consistent with age, no cracks, and no structural damage.
