The profits from this adorable ornament are used to support Operation Santa Claus by the Bernville Cotton Candy House. Starting Christmas 2020 a letters to Santa Claus mail box was installed, and every local child who writes a letter to Santa and drops it off in the box has a package delivered to their home. We weren’t expecting it to get as busy as it did and are looking to ramp up for Christmas 2021, and the profits for this item will be used to help continue this event.
After moving into their home, which previously served as St. Thomas Church Parsonage, Wesley & Shawn decided keep the tradition of it serving the community alive. Each year they have over 200 kids visit for Halloween where every child gets free Cotton Candy, hotdogs, popcorn, and McDonald’s treat-books thanks to a group of amazing friends and volunteers who make this event happen. Afterwards, their home is decorated with over 50 Christmas trees and opened to the public to tour over one very long weekend in December. Starting in 2018 the Bernville Cotton Candy house began sponsoring a community wide holiday decorating contest with $500 in prizes with the hope of keeping the magic of the Christmas spirit alive in their community.
